Was cleaning up my table just now and found the cheque I received 3 weeks ago from Google which I have almost forgotten about it. It was the first cheque I received from Google since I started to monetize my blog through Google Adsense about year ago.

Not too much but only SGD 211.64. It might be too little for many of you but for me, it’s good enough for me to pay off my hosting fee for 2 years which cost about the same amount I received. I mean what else can you ask for to be paid real money to blog, right?

The amount seems to be small but just think about being able to generate a few cents or dollars a day here and there without doing any hardwork but just by writing something you would like to share with your friends or readers. Is it too much work to do?

The good news is that you can also monetize your website or blog by doing exactly the same as I do. Just go to the bottom of the right sidebar under the “Monetize Your Blog” and click on the button to sign up for Google Adsense and you can immediately start to generate a little bit of income to pay off your hosting fee.
