Trading Queries

It’s been a while since i last updated my blog. Sorry for that…..

Thanks to those who constantly remind me to update my blog. Yeah yeah yeah, blog is meant to be updated, I understand. I’m sorry that you didn’t receive any output from me everytime you return. I had just finished replied more than 20 emails for the past weeks regarding your trading questions and do let me know if i miss out any of yours. I do reply emails but just that give me a little bit more of time, ya.

Talking about the trading questions, one reader asked about my trading style and isn’t it very difficult for me as to stay up late everyday since US Eastern Standard Time is 13 hours behind?

Well, the common misconception of trading the US market is that you have to stay up throughout the whole trading session till 5am in the morning. One friend even told me that he has to stay up every night as that is the commitment one should have to be a full time trader. I mean there’s nothing wrong with that but Read more »

The Mindset Of A Successful Trader

This article is specially dedicated to my fellow Freely graduates as well as those who work and trade closely with me. Thank you all for being there for me.

Everyone who gets into trading, be it CFD, currency, options, futures or commodities, is looking to make a fortune in the shortest period of time. Few of them would achieve what they want with much perseverance but sadly, majority of them don’t, statistically. Most of them actually fail miserably or give up too quickly.

So, what separates the trader who makes it big from those that failed?

Well, for me, it’s all about the mindset that you take and the Read more »

What Makes A Good Trading Course?

A friend just asked for my opinion whether it’s worth the money to enroll for a trading course at a certain amount of money above SGD 2k. Besides that, he also asked me to advise him for the best local guru in town.

Well, i shared with him my personal opinion that when i first started, I did it my own way and it was a pain in my ass that i just couldn’t get anything right. Yes, sometime I had successive profitable trades out of nothing which I had doubt in myself in repeating it again and that’s why I joined a trading seminar although I had already started trading. And only via the seminar I learnt more about money management and other forms of strategies that later I developed my own methods which makes me where I am now.

So, do we enroll for the best seminars or cheapest? Or do we go for reputation or those that teach you the most strategies. Hmmm.. confusing when it comes to selecting the best guru, right? Read more »

Interesting Comment

Wow! I’m getting more and more visitors to my blog although I don’t update it frequently. Ya, for those of you who return back often but just to get disappointed at no updated blog, sorry about it.

I’m getting ready to go out now but realise that there is a comment left on my blog. It’s quite interesting and that hold me back for a second to attend to this first before I move on.

Joy says:

I am not a student of freely method, but I am a forex trader. I am wondering what is your investment yield a month?

Investment in forex or stock option is not based on a single trade. But it is a long term investment. You may get the money fast, but you may lose it very fast as well. It is not how much you earn in a day, but it is about how to minimize loses.

My yield is more than 100% in a month. And you?

Well Joy, thank you for the above comment.

I reckon that trading is not based on a single trade but I “shall not” agree with you that Read more »

Money Management

I often meet up with many trader friends and the most common question i have is how to make consistent monthly income.

Common, isn’t it?

Who wouldn’t want to make an extra dollar or two per month, right? And i fully understand that.

Well, making consistent monthly income from trading is an art. There’s no right or wrong answer but just a matter of strategy with proper money management. Both strategy and money management work the best in pair and there’s no way for them to work independently. Lack of either one is committing suicide in the stock market.

Don’t believe? Test it out yourself and see.
