Whoosh 24 - Group 1

SSL21274 It’s another POE and it’s another memorable and inspiring one for me. I learnt so much throughout the 4 days not only from Adam but also from all the sharing from my participants who constantly allowed me to take home something with their life experience. Besides that, I also enjoy myself being in one of the best coaching team for Patterns of Excellence led by my pal, Jayson.

Congratulation to all of you who have stayed through with me for the 4 days and I believe each and everyone of you had taken home something invaluable in terms of knowledge and most of all, realisation.

I’m happy to see the breakthrough some of you have achieved and I specially admired the kind of team bonding all of you were demonstrating during the games.

SSL21272

Once again, thank you all for allowing me to be your coach and I would like to thank Irene, my co-coach, as well who has been working with me for the first time and your attitude towards as a coach has in fact raised the bar and standard for those who wants to be in the POE coaching team.

I wish all of you the best and see you in Mod 2.

I’m Back To Blog

Wow! It’s been a while that I didn’t update my blog. In fact I didn’t do it at all in the month of Nov and without knowing it, end of 2007 is just around the corner.I was supposed to talk about the Personal Wealth Forum but really, there’s nothing to talk about but just that I was so happy to meet and be inspired by my idol, James Skinner.

Other than that, it’s always nice to have a chance to share with more than 700 people about my idea of deriving a trade and a little bit of the importance of money management. If you still remember what I said, money management is the only holy grail to trading success. Test it out if you still have doubt.

Haha… I’m proud to announce that I was not able to defend my title successfully in the overall individual category. In fact, I came in forth with a return of 87% in 3 nights. It’s ok as I did my best and I’m so proud to be able to stick with my own money management rule in each and every trade and at least I defended my title as being the champion in the age of above 30s category, if there is one. Haha..

Coming on top in the group category meant a lot more to me as it’s not about personal success but also bringing success to the people around you. I always believe in team work and if there isn’t any, any success or glory that we achieved would eventually fade away as it is kinda lonely if there is no one there to share the joy with you.

Here is an extract from The Edge in Nov issue which mentioned about my performance

I would also like to thank all of you who still sent in Read more »

Champions Again!

Bravo to the ICPAS team for being the Champion again for the third year in a row. You guys are simply awesome and I’m proud of each and everyone of you. I’m also proud to be able to represent my profession as an “Accountant” again under Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Singapore (ICPAS) for the Inter Professional Table Tennis Games. This is my third year in the team since we first won it 2 years ago.

You know, it’s always my goal to win the Inter Professional Games’ table tennis competition again this year to complete a hattrick since I first won it in year 2005 and yes, we did it again this year. The feeling is different as it’s tougher this year with the ex-champion, the Surveyor, came back stronger with a more balance team. However, due to a better strategy that we adopted, we managed to hold on to their intense challenges and won the Championship again.

Great job, guys. I look forward to be in the same team with you again in coming years.

Special thanks to Ernest for being such an inspirational figure to the team and it’s always nice to have people like you to be there for us.

5 Things I Do To Raise My Vibrations

Stumbled across Jacklyn’s blog and learnt about this wonderful game that invites you to talk about 5 things that you do to raise your vibes. It started at Optimistlab and you can check out the post here and I strongly encourage you to take part as well.

I’m not taking part in this game but I would like to share with you the 5 things I do to raise my vibrations.

In my own definition, raising our vibrations simply means treasuring our own life and I believe we shall take care of our own life and give ourselves the best instead of hoping it from someone else. I believe taking charge is the first step towards successful and fulfilling life.

5 things I do to raise my vibrations:

1. Positive Attitude/Clear Goal

A positive attitude is clearly more than just saying positive things. A true positive attitude comes from Read more »

My POE Adventure

Feeling a bit relax right now after completed a 10 hours course early this morning and slept at about 6am. Was a bit bored as I woke up late this afternoon and that’s why I created this slide show for those who had attended the POE. Hope you guys like it although it is a bit dull but you know you won’t mind as long as it is from me, right? Those of you who could see yourself in the slide show would leave a comment on this post after the show or else you know you would feel uneasy for the rest of your day, right? Hehe..

For those who had not attended POE, I would strongly Read more »

First Experience As A Coach

Just completed Module 1 of POE - Empowerment as a coach few days ago and the experience was simply awesome.

My group was comprised of members who had diverse experiences and ages and I was glad to see that all of us were working well together as a team. We had a great time sharing our learnings and experiences together and I was especially proud of the unity the group had shown throughout the 5 days during the exercises.

It was indeed an experience for me to begin my mission as a coach to empower and inspire others that they have the capability to achieve whatever they want in life as long as they adopt the right mindset and attitude. And also by applying the Ultimate Success Formula correctly, they can be more effective and efficient to achieve their goal or dreams in their life and becoming whoever they want to be. Always remember this:-

I have the power to choose. What I choose in life is what I get. I move in the direction of my thoughts. What I think is what I get. I become what I think about. The me I see, the me I will be.

Although I only had approximately 3 hours sleep a day during the Mod 1 but I think Read more »

I’m Backing Out From My Previous Public Declared Goal

If you have read about my goal in my previous post HERE, you would have known that I’m challenging myself on achieving the USD 55K return in a single trade.

Well, I regret to announce that I’m retreating on this goal and I’m really sorry about this.

I want to thank you all who saw this before and gave me all your encouragement. You are my true friend.

Perhaps you would ask why do I need to do this, right? Read more »

I’m grateful

I had a great week.

It has been a long time i have not felt so energised until I attended the talk conducted by one of my most respected mentor, Adam Khoo.

I always have this feeling for not living my life to the fullest where time have been constantly wasted. I always feel guilty when a desirable outcome is not achieved and my mind would be bombarded by all sorts of negative wording which tell me to give up in order not to stretch myself further.

You know, sometime i just feel like giving up everything as I’m tired of doing things alone. I have so many things yet to be accomplished and I simply feel that I couldn’t do it by my own.

I just feel like going back to my little comfort zone and stay at where I used to be when there were no pressure, no uncomfortable tasks and most of all, no expectation.

Deep inside me, I know I want to be different and Read more »
