During my recent meeting up with my friends, it was so funny that majority of them would ask frantically if I was burnt during the excessive market meltdown. Being a friend, I understand why they asked and i sincerely appreciate their concerns.

However, they seemed skeptical when I told them that it was a great day for me during the correction day and in fact it was my best day in 2007. Even if i was burnt, I would still be OK looking at the safe strategies i deployed with proper money management.

I understand that they are not financially trained and it’s alright to be skeptical as who would believe one can earn money even if the market turn against you, right?

Well, I’m more towards a intra-day trader and I normally do not hold my position over night and that saved me from the recent meltdown. In fact, the correction day gave me plenty of shorting opportunity and I made a few bucks from there.

I’m wondering when is the next “bear” coming. I’m waiting….
